What do I receive?
A vase shaped like a kneeling angel, in white, sitting on a base with the name of the child taking communion — printed by us, with the soap flowers already inside. It arrives ready to place on the table.
Is it the same as the large vase?
É a smaller version do vase with your name: shorter and narrower, designed to sit at several places on the table rather than being a single piece. Being smaller, it costs less — e é por isso que dá para uma comunhão inteira.
How much for a whole communion?
By quantity: 24,90 € per piece, 19,90 € cada a partir de 10 e 16,90 € cada a partir de 25. Each one carries the guest's name, if you wish. Orders of 10 or more are handled through the Events page.
How far ahead do I need to order?
This is the question that matters: each piece is printed on its own, one at a time. 10 pieces are about 4 dias of printer time, 25 pieces about 9 dias, 50 pieces almost 3 semanas. So: up to 15 pieces, 15 dias úteis; de 16 a 30, 3 semanas; above 30, 5 semanas. Talk to us with 6 semanas of notice and there is no squeeze.
What can I write on the base?
A name or a word, up to 10 characters — «Luís», «Margarida», «Comunhão». A base tem uma largura certa: acima das 10 letras as letras ficavam pequenas de mais e a peça perdia a graça.
Are the flowers real?
They are soap flowers: parecem flores, mas são sabão em forma de pétala. Não murcham: podem ficar no vaso como decoração, ir para uma gaveta a perfumar a roupa, ou usar-se no banho, pétala a pétala.
What colours are there?
For communions we make it in branco, which is what makes sense on the day. If you want another colour — cream, pink, gold, copper, violet or green — we make it just the same, at no extra cost. The base can be a different colour from the angel.
Does it work for a christening?
It does. For christenings there is also the angel with a name, a smaller and cheaper piece; this is the one that carries flowers and remains a vase after the day. Many people choose this one for godparents and grandparents and the angel for the other guests.
How do I give you the names?
After the order we send a sheet for you to write the names and colours, one per line. You reply and we start. We double-check the names with you before printing — misspelt names cannot be undone once printed.
And when the flowers run out?
A real vase remains — it has a drainage hole, so it can take a succulent or whatever you like. The piece does not end with the flowers, and that is what makes it last beyond the day.
How much is shipping?
5,80 € para todo o Portugal, free over €49. Event orders all go in one box — a single shipping fee, not one per piece.
Does it come wrapped?
Per piece, it goes in a ready-to-give box with the Ariumô fabric bag as a gift and a blank card. In an event order everything goes in a single box, each piece in its own bag, ready to place on the tables.
Can I return it?
Pieces with a name are made especially for you, so they cannot be returned — the law provides that exception for personalised items. If it arrives faulty or different from what was agreed, we resolve it without argument.
